CASL in the Singer Challenge Cup

During the weekend of May 10th and 11th, various teams entered the WRAL Soccer Center with one goal: winning the Singer Challenge Cup.  Squads from CASL, PRAA, NCUSA, and many other organizations competed and provided a tournament to remember.  Throughout the weekend, players displayed determination, sportsmanship, and team unity.  Here’s a look at some of the exciting results! 

Boys Division

U11
Boys Flying High!  U11 boys CASL Hawks take down Los Diablos on Sunday in a close game to capture Singer Challenge Cup title.  Final tally: 2-1.

U12
CASL Arsenal U12 boys defeat the Raptors by a score of 6-2, earning the Singer Challenge Cup Championship.  The Gunners are led by Coach Kirt Landry.

U13
Hawks Win!  CASL Hawks boys U13 pull out the victory over the Wolverines in a nail-biter, winning by a final score of 3-2.

U14
CASL Cosmos U14 boys’ team defeats WF United Blue in a defensive battle, holding on to win 1-0 in the championship match.

U15-U16
White Hot!  CASL WF United White U15-16 boys triumph over Dragons, 1-0, to cap off an impressive run to Singer Challenge Cup Championship.


Girls Division

U11
Better in Blue!  CASL WF United Blue U11 girls continue recent dominance, winning on Sunday by a score of 4-0 to clinch the Singer Challenge Cup.

U12
CASL Storm U12 girls earn 1-0 victory in Sunday’s semi-final match to be Singer Challenge Cup Finalists!  The Storm is coached by Adrian Airey.

U13
It takes Courage!  U13 girls CASL Courage prevails over WF United Red, 5-2, riding a recent offensive explosion en route to a Singer Challenge Cup Championship.  

U14
Noble Steeds!  Another impressive defensive display leads CASL Mustangs U14 girls to 2-1 victory over Rockets in Singer Challenge Cup Final.
